Traveling to Hartford in March with trailer in tow has become a Quiggins family tradition. No matter how many years we do this, getting up at 3:30 am to load heifers and make the nearly 2 hour drive is not getting any easier, at least not on Tim and I. This has long been a favorite show of ours because it's early in the season and it's just so good to visit with dear friends. Thanks Jim Jasper for making me laugh so much that morning with your stories and insights on the world around us!
Blake had a great day that started with class winner with his market heifer and she was later named champion market heifer.

In the Angus show, Blake's September heifer was also a class winner, but couldn't get passed the older heifers in the championship drive.

I'm not sure when we will hit the road again with the heifers but keep an eye on this blog for pictures of new calves and our cow herd.
